As we know from experience, each year begins with a chance to choose from new opportunities presented to us and provides each an occasion to make choices that hopefully allow one another the latitude to do things differently. We ask ourselves what we can do and will I do to make a positive difference. It’s not about making the familiar “resolution” that we mortals typically are not likely to keep. J It’s about making a real commitment that we are most comfortable in, ensuring positive results that will not only benefit us but lift the spirit of those around us. It might be providing support to someone in need, participating in a voluntary activity (food bank, nursing home visit, Habitat for Humanity [lending carpentry or coordinating skills, etc.], sharing a hobby with a friend, exhibiting genuine love and understanding, etc. I wholeheartedly recommend that all Nairs do something different for 2022 that will inspire those we interact with.

Let’s strive to make 2022 a year the Nairs seize the opportunity to minimize acts of selfishness and focus on acts of selflessness. Your Board of Directors is committed to providing a platform to reinforce the power of unity. We sincerely hope we can provide the leadership spirit that will help bring about new beginnings in the Nair society and set an example for other communities of Houston. To accomplish this goal, we greatly need all Nairs to come together and realize the power of unity.
